All the benefits and perks you need for you and your family: * Benefits from Day One: Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance * Paid Time Off from Day One * 403-B Retirement Plan * 4 Weeks 100% Paid Parental Leave * Career Development * Whole Person Well-being Resources * Mental Health Resources and Support * Pet Benefits Schedule: Full time Shift: Night (United States of America) Address: 1500 SW 1ST AVE City: OCALA State: Florida Postal Code: 34471 Job Description: * Perform and document accurate initial and ongoing assessments to evaluate patient conditions and needs. * Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to address identified patient needs and goals. * Administer medications accurately and appropriately as ordered, monitoring patient responses and adjusting interventions as necessary. * Supervise and guide nursing personnel in delivering safe, therapeutic, and quality patient care, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures. * Provide patient and family education about the care plan, medications, procedures, and other relevant information to ensure understanding and compliance. $10,000 sign on bonus and $5,000-$10,000 relocation, if eligible Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Must be able to use a high level of abstract reasoning to assess patient, evaluate interventions, and revise plan of care according to patient outcomes. * Basic computer skills - must be able to navigate Microsoft windows based programs. * Must be fluent in English (read, verbal and written skills). * 1 year of nursing experience in an acute hospital setting. * Equipment use to stabilize and monitor patients (IV insertion, central lines, pulse ox, NG tubes, Foley, chest tubes, hemodynamics monitoring), including electronic medical record and automated dispensing medication system (pyxis). * Proficient clinical skills, critical thinking skills, and strong communication skills. * Commitment to hourly patient rounding and EKG interpretation class. * Frequent independent judgment, sound professional judgment and critical-thinking skills in clinical situations, including clinical assessment, data, and patient response. * Ability to continuously prioritize multiple duties and function in a calm and professional manner during stressful situations. * General knowledge of professional nursing principles and techniques, and the pharmacological process in the appropriate administration or delivery of medications. * Skill to maintain effective working relationships with health professionals and others to create an environment conducive to carrying out the mission of the facility. * Ability to communicate (verbal and written) effectively to direct the overall professional nursing services in a manner which encourages the open exchange of ideas and information. * Will float to appropriate departments within scope, skill/ability, and credentials. * Organizational and multi-tasking skills, knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures, and the ability to work as a team player within a unit. * Effective verbal and oral communication and problem-solving skills. * EKG (based on patient population; see document EKG and Advanced Life Support Requirements).
