You"ll: • Prepare and educate children for procedures through therapeutic play and emotional support • Plan and lead activities that normalize the hospital environment • Advocate for families and promote patient-centered care • Coordinate special events and collaborate with volunteers •Supervise students and volunteers, sharing your expertise and passion Position Details: ? What You Bring Bachelor"s degree in a Child Life-related field Completion of a Child Life internship Eligibility for certification through the Association of Child Life Professionals BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire) Strong foundation in child development and medical terminology Preferred: ✔️ 2+ years of experience in child education or healthcare ✔️ Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS) ? Why Mercy?
