Easy Apply now by clicking the "Apply" button and sending us your resume.Salary: $25 - $32 per hourA bit about us:We are an industry-leading innovator of stamping equipment and are looking for a skilled welder to join our team.Why join us?Competitive compensationWe have openings on 1st shiftGreat benefits401k MatchPlenty of overtime availableWell-ventilated facilityJob DetailsKey ResponsibilitiesPerform MIG welding on a variety of metals, primarily steel and aluminum, according to project specifications.Set up welding equipment, adjust settings, and select appropriate wire, gas, and materials for each job.Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to determine project requirements.Prepare materials for welding, including cutting, grinding, and fitting spect completed welds for quality, strength, and adherence to specifications.Maintain welding equipment, tools, and work area to ensure optimal operation and safety.Follow all safety protocols, including the use of PPE and proper handling of welding equipment.Work closely with other welders, fabricators, and supervisors to meet production schedules and deadlines.Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality within the department.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent (technical training or welding certification preferred).1–3 years of experience in MIG welding within a manufacturing or fabrication environment.Strong knowledge of welding processes, materials, and safety practices.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.Proficiency in using hand tools, grinders, and measuring instruments.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and work in varying temperaturesInterested in hearing more?
