The successful candidate will be responsible for representing clients in cases, conducting legal research, negotiating settlements, appearing in court, and preparing legal documents. The attorney will be responsible for communicating directly with clients on a daily basis.Responsibilities:Drafting and responding to discoveryLaw and motion practiceTaking and defending depositionsPerforming legal researchManaging all other litigation case management dutiesRepresenting clients in court and during settlement negotiationsQualifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolActive Bar license in the state of Ohio.Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in litigationExcellent research and writing skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to manage a caseload of 40 to 50 litigation files throughout all stages of litigationCivil trial experience is a mustAbility to communicate compassionately and promptly with clients who are in distressTeam player with a positive personality and ambition to learn and succeedInterested in hearing more?
