This position will require the candidate to work Clinic Hours M-F 8a-5p. The ideal candidate will have experience in Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, Checking vitals, and in a Gastroenterology clinic. As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting physicians and nurses in providing exceptional patient care.Responsibilities:Taking and recording patient vitals including blood pressure, temperature, and pulsePreparing patients for exams and proceduresAssisting physicians and nurses during exams and proceduresAdministering medications as directed by physiciansPerforming basic lab tests and specimen collectionMaintaining accurate and up-to-date patient recordsProviding patient education and instructions as directed by physiciansMaintaining a clean and organized work environmentOther duties as assigned by the physician or clinic managerQualifications:Certified Clinical Medical Assistant2+ years of experience in a medical office or clinic settingExperience with Gastroenterology preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work well in a fast-paced environmentAbility to multitask and prioritize tasks effectivelyProficient in basic computer skills and electronic medical recordsAbility to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulationsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamIf you are a highly motivated and skilled Medical Assistant with a passion for patient care, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
