Our firm works solely with small business owners and high net worth individuals to properly plan for their taxes, throughout the year, and get the chance to showcase real tax savings when we file their return.Why join us?100% paid for Medical and Dental insuranceCompetitive salary and overall compensation package401 (k) with generous company matchLife Insurance coverageGenerous PTO, vacation, sick and holidaysWork Remote permanentlyJob Details*Work Remote*Responsibilities:Be able to Prepare and Review business and personal tax returns for small business clients from initial meeting through delivery and filing of returns (Basic data entry of the tax return will already be done for you by our offshore team)Communicate with clients about required missing tax documents to finalize Tax ReturnsYou'll be submitting the prepared/reviewed tax returns to the Tax Manager for their final review.Clear comments assigned by Tax ManagerMeet with the client before the final sign off of the tax return to go over the numbers with them and answer any questions they may have.Ensure that the tax planning strategies identified by the Tax Manager has been applied to the tax returnsYou want to get promoted to a Tax Manager Role in a year or two.You have a solid understanding of how the tax code worksYou'd have an opportunity to learn tax planning strategies for our clients and learn how you can help a client save tens of thousands in taxes even if they are currently working with a CPA Firm.You should have most of the following:Must currently have a job in public accountingMust have extensive experience in preparing Business (1120S & 1065) and Personal (1040) tax returns in a public accounting firm currentlyExperience in supervising a staffAttention to detail, strong organizational skillsA CPA license, an enrolled agent is highly preferred.Prior Remote Working Experience preferredAn insatiable hunger to find way for our clients to save money on taxesFolks that do not have a job currently in public accounting or have side self employed gigs will not be terested in hearing more?
