Easy Apply now by clicking the "Apply" button and sending us your resume.Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 per yearA bit about us:We're a leader in industrial manufacturing with global operations, join our team and enjoy great benefits + competitive compensation & world class culture!Why join us?We offer plenty of room for growth in addition to:Compensation: up to $130,000 base salary PLUS bonus (Total comp up to $150,000)Benefits:Medical + Dental & Vision InsuranceLife Insurance & Disability InsurancePTO + Paid HolidaysGenerous 401K contribution / matchingAdditional suite of industry leading benefits+ More!Job DetailsWhat You'll Do (Key Responsibilities):Perform fundamental and applied engineering research to create new products or improve existing components, equipment, systems, test methods, requirements, and processesLead development efforts by keeping teams aligned on critical design decisions, end-user needs, system requirements, verification testing, product improvements, and relevant technology trendsApply broad engineering expertise (mechanical, electrical, and related domains) to drive innovation and solve complex product challengesBuild, assemble, and evaluate prototypes that integrate mechanical and electrical elementsProduce and interpret detailed mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and related technical documentationSupport and sustain designs across the full product lifecycle, including refinement, troubleshooting, and continuous improvementCommunicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders in both written and verbal formatsFollow defined role standard work and complete additional responsibilities as assignedTechnical Skills & Capabilities:Strong CAD proficiency (Siemens NX preferred; SolidWorks or similar acceptable) and comfort with the Microsoft Office suiteWorking knowledge of 3D printing and rapid prototyping approachesHands-on experience assembling and debugging electromechanical prototypes (sensor-related experience strongly preferred)Practical fabrication capability, including activities such as machining, soldering, and mechanical/electrical assembly for development testingExperience testing electromechanical sensors/systems and working within automation or controls environments (including PLC-based systems)Sensor design and integration experience is a plusBackground in water-quality monitoring devices or related equipment is preferredSolid fundamentals spanning mechanical design, electrical integration, and flow/fluids conceptsAble to thrive in a fast-paced development setting: adaptable, resourceful, proactive, and comfortable operating with minimal supervisionEducation & Experience:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline5+ years of relevant industrial product development experience; sensor and automation industry exposure preferredDemonstrated experience with prototype development and CAD-driven design workWork Environment & Physical Requirements:Frequent use of hands for handling, manipulating, and assembling components; regular reaching and standard verbal communication/hearing requirementsFrequently seated; occasionally standing and walkingLifting/moving requirements: regularly up to 10 lb, frequently up to 25 lb, occasionally up to 50 lbVision requirements include close/distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focusOccasional exposure to fumes/airborne particles, chemicals that may be toxic/caustic, and electrical shock hazardsTypical noise level is moderateInterested in hearing more?
