Remote Customer Service Representative - Shareholder Support Position Type: Temporary (8+ weeks, with potential extension based on performance and business needs) Work Environment: 100% Remote (U.S. based only) Shifts Available: PM Shift (details below) Position Overview The Customer Service Representative supports shareholder meetings and corporate action initiatives by handling inbound and outbound phone calls using scripted call flows. This role requires professionalism, accuracy, and consistency, ensuring each interaction meets quality standards and client expectations. Representatives may also support administrative tasks, quality monitoring, and training activities as needed. Key ResponsibilitiesCore Duties + Place outbound calls and, when assigned, handle inbound calls using approved scripts and responses. + Resolve shareholder questions and concerns professionally while adhering to call flows and quality guidelines. + Meet performance targets including: + Average Handle Time (AHT) + Productivity + Quality + Attendance + Code of Conduct + Accurately update databases and call records following each interaction. + Stay current on campaign-specific updates through training sessions, SharePoint, email, and Teams. + Escalate complex or sensitive issues to a supervisor promptly. + Communicate patterns of shareholder feedback to management. Additional Assignments (as needed) + Conduct "Toplist" outreach to high‑value shareholders. + Support quality initiatives, such as monitoring or pulling calls, as a peer monitor. + Assist with routine administrative work for operations, training, or quality teams. + Respond to inquiries received through chat, email, or telephone. + Handle compliance‑related or escalated inquiries. + Support trainers during new‑hire sessions, including answering questions and role‑playing. + Provide temporary support to team members in the absence of a team leader. Training Program Training consists of: + 5 classroom‑based instructional shifts, followed by + 5 on‑the‑job training (OJT) shifts, where agents take live calls while receiving continued coaching. Agents are expected to begin taking calls within six days of their start date. Training includes: + Mock calls + Shadowing experienced agents + Hands‑on practice using scripts, resources, and support links + Active participation via voice and chat RequirementsEducation & Experience + High School Diploma or GED required + 6+ months of experience in customer service, data entry, or similar environment Skills & Competencies + Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly and professionally + Ability to follow a scripted call flow for extended periods (5-8 hours depending on shift) + Intermediate computer skills with Windows-based applications + Quick learner with strong ability to retain and apply new information + Fast, accurate decision-making using prescribed responses + Experience with Genesys Cloud is helpful but not required Technical & Home Office Requirements + Quiet, private workspace (must not be a public location) + USB (wired) headset + Dual-monitor setup + Internet speed minimums: + 100 Mbps download + 10 Mbps upload Workload Expectations + High‑volume outbound calling environment + Goal of 30 calls/hour via auto-dialer or call flow + High volume of voicemails; teams may leave 11,000+ voicemails per day Work Environment & Schedule This position is fully remote and requires the employee to be physically located within the United States at all times while working. Shift Options PM Shift + Monday-Thursday: 6:00 PM - 11:00 PM EST + Saturday: 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM EST + Includes: One 15‑minute break on weekdays, 30‑minute unpaid lunch on Saturdays + Total: 25.5 hours/week Extra hours may be available depending on business demand. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Dallas, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
