Clinical Laboratory Technologist - Permanent Hire 12pm-9pm shift POSITION SUMMARY: The Clinical Laboratory Technologist operates under the guidance of the Laboratory Supervisor to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of diagnostic information to healthcare providers. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Conducts bench technology procedures for processing patient samples in areas such as Hematology, Chemistry, Microbiology, and PCR testing. Evaluates patient history in conjunction with diagnostic findings. Executes and records quality controls, implementing corrective measures when necessary. Performs and documents routine equipment maintenance and operations. Inputs patient data into computer systems for electronic medical records and retrieves relevant information. Ensures proper disposal and documentation of hazardous waste. Performs other assigned duties. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Active NYS Clinical Technologist license mandatory. 1 to 3 years of relevant experience preferred. BS Degree or higher.
