Title Attorney/Settlement Attorney

Cardinal Title Group is accepting resumes for a Settlement Attorney to join our growing team, based out of our Richmond office. The candidate must be able to conduct real estate settlements while also effectively performing the job functions outlined below. The position will also require local travel for settlements within the Richmond area. Job functions include:Prepare and review deeds, contracts, powers of attorney, trust documents, title abstract reports, and any other legal documents relevant to Cardinal Title settlementsProvide legal advice to real estate agents, their clients, while also representing Cardinal Title GroupLead/teach educational classes relevant to real estateReview land records and chain-of-titleAssist in resolving any title claimsAssist in various other relevant legal matters QualificationsMust be a licensed attorney in Virginia3+ years of title/real estate settlement experienceCardinal Title offers qualified candidates a competitive salary, health benefits, 401k options, and the ability to grow within a company that continues to expand.
