In this role, you will: Provide leadership and program management oversight supporting a large, complex development program, assuring the project meets financials, schedule, and technical objectives, and achieves the highest level of customer satisfaction. Develop program/project plans specifying goals, staffing needs, schedule milestones, risks, and contingency plans. Direct program activities to meet work objectives and serves as a liaison with customers to coordinate activities, negotiate tasks, and solve problems. Identify and mitigate risks and document program progress including implementation, timelines, issues, risks, quality, and successes measures to meet contractual requirements. Communicate with all levels of BAE Systems senior management regarding program performance status (cost / schedule / resources / risk) as well as performance to annual financial objectives. Manage program scope and cost estimating, including estimate to complete/estimate at completion (ETC/EAC) processes. This position has a need for consistent, in-person collaboration and many job requirements must be done onsite due to the nature of this particular role, therefore full-time on-site work is preferred although occasional hybrid work is possible. This means the majority of work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility. Required Education, Experience, & Skills: US Citizen, Secret Clearance with ability to achieve SAP/SAR. Bachelor's Degree in a technical (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science) or business-related discipline Minimum 6 year of Defense Industry experience. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively across functional teams. A desire to learn and an aptitude for working in a fast-paced, highly technical development environment. Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills: Project management or program office experience, or experience leading a team Scope management experience Experience interfacing with customers Experience on development programs Risk and opportunity management experience Control Account Management and Earned Value Management experience Proposal experience Master of Science and/or MBA. PMP certifications.
