Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician As a member of the Facility Services team, the Maintenance Technician will work to maintain the safe and efficient operation of building systems, as well as maintain the appearance of the facilities. Key Areas of Responsibility Light repairs to doors, floors, ceilings, lights, plumbing, irrigation, roofs, locks, and more Assist in inspections and preventive maintenance of building systems Log equipment status daily and keep an eye on mechanical and life safety systems Respond to work orders using the Workspeed system we keep it tech-savvy Jump into action during emergencies safety is always priority #1 Communicate and coordinate with the Property Manager, building team, and tenants Represent the company professionally (and proudly) every day Help out with day porter duties and support your teammates when needed Education, Experience and Skills Required 1+ year of maintenance experience ideally in a commercial office setting Comfortable using a computer, mobile device, and Workspeed or similar CMMS A great communicator whether it's with a teammate or a tenant Valid driver's license A strong work ethic and a can-do attitude Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work safely and smart Familiar with basic tools and maintenance techniques A team player who's also not afraid to take the lead when needed Why You'll Love It Here: Room to grow, learn, and make a visible difference every day Opportunity to take ownership of your role and be a key player in building operations You'll never be bored variety is guaranteed!
