Responsibilities: Manage full-cycle recruiting by drafting job postings, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews and offers with department leaders Maintain accurate employee records, including Paychex data related to roles, compensation, and organizational structure Process employee lifecycle changes such as new hires, terminations, PTO, and leaves of absence Run payroll accurately and on time, ensuring proper deductions, taxes, and system updates Administer benefits enrollment and changes for health, dental, life, and disability plans Conduct onboarding, safety training, open enrollment sessions, and company-wide HR updates Lead workplace safety initiatives through walkthroughs, policy enforcement, and employee training Coordinate performance review processes and support leadership with coaching and employee development Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies Complete I-9s, audits, compliance reporting, and required documentation Handle employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations with professionalism and consistency Other duties as assigned. Required Experience: 4+ years of progressive HR generalist experience Strong working knowledge of HR practices and employment law, paired with a continuous-learning mindset Proactive, solution-oriented approach with the ability to take initiative and work independently Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize, adapt, and manage competing demands Genuine passion for building impactful programs and supporting the success of others Authorized to work legally in the United States.
