Mahomet Lobby Service Specialist Mahomet Branch - Mahomet, IL 61853 End Date 03/09/2026 Overview Salary Range: $21.22 - $21.22 Hourly Description Role: A Lobby Services Specialist is a financial coach that listens to our members' account needs. The goal of this position is to enhance the service experience for our members, look out for our members' best interest, and offer solutions to improve their financial life. A lobby Services Specialist must be able to effectively address all lobby needs while demonstrating strong proficiency in both explaining and utilizing the ITM system. As the face of our organization the Lobby Services Specialist will: Build member loyalty Provide solutions for internal and external members Build and maintain product knowledge Focus on compliance and security Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Provide exceptional service to both internal and external members and demonstrate a strong commitment to the organization's Do More Good culture by fostering a positive work environment and promoting our core values in all interactions. Assist members with deposit account needs and answer questions about product and services Actively engage with members to proactively anticipate member needs by demonstrating our Core Values to cultivate a warm, positive, and inclusive atmosphere. Consistently identify the needs of members and recommend appropriate credit union solutions in order to build member loyalty and meet or exceed organizational goals Utilize various technological tools to serve members and transition them to an office setting as necessary. Demonstrate proficiency in digital services to members to ensure accurate processing, efficient workflows, and a seamless member experience. Provide assistance with deposit accounts and facilitate connections between members and relevant internal departments. Help build and foster UICCU's impact and membership growth within the Mahomet community by strengthening local relationships, increasing brand visibility, and supporting community focused initiatives. Support members in establishing deposit accounts while providing clear, accurate, and timely responses to all account related questions. Contribute to a positive lobby experience by upholding UICCU's Core Values and demonstrating the mission of Do More Good in every member interaction. Guide members through the use of Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs) and branch account processes to ensure a seamless and confident banking experience. Serve as the welcoming and professional face of UICCU to all members visiting the Mahomet branch, creating an exceptional first impression and reinforcing our commitment to service. Identify and suggest process improvements and innovative solutions to enhance departmental efficiency. Own internal and external member problems, issues and complaints and ensure the appropriate follow up to achieve proper resolution Performance Measurements: 1. Continuously meet and/or exceed established goals and objectives identified in the annual performance goal document for this position. Support credit union initiatives to achieve desired balanced scorecard results. 2. Actively participate and complete all required training courses for this role and achieve a passing score on all job-related assessments. 3. Maintain a thorough knowledge of credit union's product and services as well as compliance items (BSA/ AML and OFAC) through self-study and available training and development opportunities. Must receive passing score on all required assessments. 4. Maintain appropriate level of attendance and timeliness to ensure the highest level of service to both internal and external members. When possible, absences should be scheduled in advance. Knowledge and Skills: Experience One year to three years of similar or related experience. Education A high school education or GED. Interpersonal Skills Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is of a personal or sensitive nature. Motivating, influencing, and/or training others is key at this level. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
