Maintenance Supervisor Direct hire opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor for a well-established, large-scale food manufacturer in Tucker, GA. This direct hire opportunity offers a competitive salary of $75,000-$100,000 (based on experience), excellent benefits and the chance to lead and coordinate a skilled maintenance team in a high-volume manufacturing facility. You'll supervise all maintenance activities including repair, installation, and preventive maintenance while directly supervising the team on staffing, training, and performance standards. Job Duties: Directly oversee Maintenance team including staffing, training, performance standards, and performance management Oversee day-to-day assignments and partner with Maintenance Planner to develop scope and assign technicians to work orders and projects Ensure weekly preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and work orders are completed satisfactorily Monitor scheduled work and adjust as required to meet production schedules Inspect completed work for conformance to standards, specifications, and blueprints Continually monitor working conditions and equipment use; suggest changes to increase efficiency and quality Ensure all plant maintenance operations are conducted in a safe and controlled environment in compliance with OSHA rules Manage department to ensure good manufacturing practices (GMPs) are adhered to and professional appearance is maintained Conduct regular maintenance inspections and ensure maintenance shop equipment and tools meet operational requirements Operate within Maintenance budget and initiate cost saving measures Provide leadership in implementing/maintaining preventive and predictive maintenance programs Work with Human Resources regarding personnel and performance issues Foster team responsibility for achieving goals and support employee growth through individual development planning Support food safety program, quality standards, and legality of manufactured products Requirements: Associate's/Bachelor's degree, program certificate, or equivalent work experience Minimum 7+ years of maintenance experience. Food manufacturing highly preferred Minimum 7+ years of supervisory experience in maintenance Demonstrated ability to organize, lead, coach, and train a diverse maintenance workforce Experience overseeing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs Ability to conduct PM audits and inspect completed work for quality, safety, and compliance Strong mechanical and planning aptitude with working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems Ability to read diagrams, layouts, blueprints, and related documentation Knowledge of food manufacturing, FDA/USDA, OSHA, and EPA regulations Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and experience with CMMS Continuous improvement mindset with ability to support multiple projects Strong decision-making skills with ability to think critically and solve complex problems Ability to organize, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-shift environment with occasional overtime and weekend support To apply for the Maintenance Supervisor position, please submit your resume in response to this ad or fill out an application on our website, impactstaffing.com.
