Position Summary The REO Specialist Avenue is responsible for preparing and reviewing documentation related to investor services products while ensuring compliance with industry regulations. This role coordinates with internal teams, Realtors, vendors, asset companies, and attorneys to facilitate title clearance, closing, and approval processes. The REO Specialist monitors workflow efficiency, vendor performance, and timelines to ensure successful and compliant closings. Description Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities Order & Contract Review Review contracts and open orders for investor servicesrelated products. Open and manage REO-related orders in accordance with company standards. Perform final pre-closing checks including taxes, premiums, endorsements, vesting, and checklist requirements. Systems & Reporting Demonstrate strong working knowledge of ResWare. Update spreadsheets and reports for weekly distribution. Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the REO process. Coordination & Closing Support Work closely with Realtors, vendors, asset companies, and attorneys to coordinate title clearance, closings, and ALTA/CD approvals. Collaborate with scheduling teams to set closing times with customers. Ensure all closing requirements are satisfied prior to file submission. Performance & Workflow Management Fulfill performance standards and deadlines in alignment with company goals and vision. Manage individual workflow to ensure timeliness and efficiency. Ability to effectively and accurately convey information to others. Performs related duties as assigned by management. Qualifications and Education Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. 1-3 years of title/mortgage or financial company preferred. 1+ years of REO/Foreclosure/Purchase Title experience preferred. Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and complete assignments within established procedures. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. Bilingual desired. Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge Strong organizational and time-management skills. Attention to detail and accuracy in document review. Ability to coordinate with multiple external and internal stakeholders. Strong clerical and computer aptitude. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. Work Environment and Physical Requirements Working on-site at assigned office location. Regular and punctual attendance adhering to schedule established by leadership. Sedentary work in a stationary position at a cubicle for prolonged periods of time. Constant repetitive motions required for operating a computer, such as typing and managing phone calls. Constantly communicating effectively verbally in English, including accurately exchanging information with others following identification of correct procedures. Light lifting: 2025 lbs. Light carrying: 1025 lbs.
