Compliance Support Specialist The Compliance Support Specialist monitors/analyzes data for compliance for various departments statewide. Duties may include: uses independent judgment to conduct regular internal monitoring of data to ensure compliance, utilizes compliance tools, collaborates with management to prepare for external and internal compliance monitoring reviews, collaborates with and informs management of compliance and monitoring findings, assists in developing policy and procedures for quality assurance and compliance standards, maintains audit reports and required documents. This position will generate special reports as requested. The Compliance Support Specialist will monitor the tracking system to ensure compliance of state regulations and policies and provide support, as needed, in formal internal and external audits statewide. Essential Job Functions: Audit data in various departments as needed Comply with applicable state regulations, policies, and procedures Analyze audit results and generate reports for management team Ensure compliance with regulations Ensure organizational policies and procedures are being followed Assist in ensuring necessary documentation is collected for various programs statewide Identify potential risks statewide Play a key role in preparing for state and internal audits Assist in creating statewide policies Provide training to staff as needed on regulations and policies Additional duties as assigned Education & Experience: The MINIMUM formal relevant education required by the position. Relevant experience/certifications in lieu of formal education will be considered. High school or GED required AA degree in Business or related field preferred The MINIMUM relevant experience necessary to qualify for the position. 1-3 years' experience in compliance/quality control, data entry, or clerical positions Other Qualifications: Working knowledge of Title 5 Regulations and familiarity with subsidized funding eligibility experience preferred Experienced with MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Access (or related databases) Competent in PC and keyboarding skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Effective time management, planning, organizational, and follow-up skills Team-oriented and ability to multi-task Flexibility and ability to prioritize a shifting workload Ability to work in a deadline driven environment Ability to maintain confidentiality of family information Ability to carry out scheduled activities independently after training Shift Type: Full Time, Hybrid Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm What We Offer: Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits 401(k) Retirement plan and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Personal Health Advocate Paid vacation, sick time, and holidays Commuter pre-tax benefit Discounted childcare Access to the Calm app Tickets at Work employee discounts We are proud to be an EEO/AA employer M/F/D/V.
