Purchasing Clerk

Purchasing Clerk Cenveo, a world leader in the management and distribution of print and related offerings, is seeking a Purchasing Clerk to work out of our Dallas, Texas location. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. The ideal candidate will have experience in raw materials management, allocation, and inventory control. Job Summary Supports materials management as it relates to planning, procurement, storage, control, and distribution of materials. Primary Duties & Responsibilities (Essential Functions) These are functions a qualified incumbent or applicant must be able to perform with or without reasonable accommodation. Maintains optimum inventory level for all raw materials. Places special orders as needed. Allocates raw materials to orders. Coordinates and validates accuracy of receiving reports. Assists with the raw material portion of physical inventories to include the actual counting and reconciliation of the count. Determines material needs from reviewing orders. Other (Non-Essential) Functions Includes functions which are normally performed by persons holding this title. However, these functions may be reassigned to other employees as part of a "Reasonable Accommodation" under the ADA. Ensures paper cycle count is conducted multiple times per week. Ensures window film inventory is correct and places orders as needed Complies with safety rules and regulations (wear proper safety attire; steel-toed shoes or coverings, hearing protection, safety glasses, shields and gloves as needed). All other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions Employee is required to sit regularly. Frequently is required to reach and occasionally required to stand and walk. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Exposure to high production/output machinery, equipment, and hazardous materials (inks, solvents, glue, etc. of which all materials an employee may come in contact with are detailed with readily available SDS sheets).
