Marketing Intern The Marketing Intern will support the Marketing Team with projects, while bridging the gap between Pace and our Customers. The Marketing Intern will have the opportunity to develop their skills and create fun, simple, and authentic social content. Essential functions include: Researching and identifying marketable service generators by route. Customizing social media content to enhance brand awareness and increase engagement. Loading and updating data on rideshare platform. Preparing and participating in outreach events by stocking and organizing promotional items and printed materials. Reviewing service areas, obtaining and managing contact information at outreach events, and assisting with mailers. Performing other duties as assigned. Internship Duration: Monday, June 1, 2026 Friday, August 14, 2026 Hours Per Week: Up to 37.5 Hours Per Week Rate of Pay: $19/hr Location: Pace Suburban Bus Headquarters, 550 W. Algonquin Road Arlington Heights, IL 60005 Working Conditions: This position is based in an office setting with standard office equipment. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm. However, the business needs of Pace may result in work schedules outside the typical hours/workdays. This position is not eligible for hybrid or remote telecommuting. Qualifications Age: Must be 18 years of age or older. Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Must be currently enrolled in a 2-year or 4-year accredited college or university and working towards a degree in Business, Marketing or other related field. Licenses/Certifications: Must possess a valid driver's license. Proficiencies: Must demonstrate working knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite applications. Experience with Nextdoor social media platform is preferred. Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for extended periods of time, frequently stand and/or walk within an office environment, lift and carry up to 25lbs, use a keyboard and type for prolonged periods.
