Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) Re-ignite motivation through purposeful activity. As a CTRS, you design therapeutic recreation that reduces anxiety, builds coping, and fosters connection bringing steady energy and teamwork to our busiest hours. How You Will Make a Difference Assess leisure interests and functional skills; write goal-driven care plans. Lead groups in mindfulness, art/music, movement, and community reintegration skills. Track attendance and outcomes; collaborate with nursing and therapy to reinforce coping plans. Maintain safe spaces and equipment; adapt activities to diverse abilities. Coordinate with rounding providers and daytime interdisciplinary teams to keep care plans moving. Support safe discharges and smooth handoffs to evening/night teams. What We're Looking For Bachelor's in Recreation Therapy or related field; NCTRC certification (CTRS). Experience in inpatient psych or substance use treatment preferred. Creative, energetic facilitator with patient-first mindset.
