Accounting & Payroll Assistant

Accounting & Payroll Assistant Cardinal Staffing is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounting & Payroll Assistant to manage the financial records and accounting functions. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional who thrives working independently and can efficiently manage monthly bookkeeping responsibilities within a flexible, limited schedule. This will be a part time position, 20-25 hours weekly. Key Responsibilities Maintain and reconcile financial accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank statements Process invoices, receipts, and vendor payments accurately and in a timely manner Record daily financial transactions and ensure proper expense categorization Prepare monthly financial summaries and reports for management review Track parts purchases, service transactions, and sales revenue Assist with payroll data entry and preparation of tax documentation as needed Monitor inventory costs and maintain accurate cost tracking related to hydraulic parts and repairs Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and financial best practices Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (small business experience preferred) Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, or similar accounting software Strong understanding of general ledger and basic accounting principles Excellent organizational and time-management skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism About Cardinal Staffing At Cardinal Staffing, we are dedicated to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
