Insurance Specialist At Circle Surrogacy, we help people build the families of their dreams through surrogacy. We're seeking an Insurance Specialist who will be critical in managing insurance policies and coordination throughout the gestational carrier (GC) journey. The successful candidate will serve as the primary liaison between gestational carriers, legal teams, medical billing, and external insurance partners to ensure seamless insurance coverage and compliance throughout the surrogacy process. What you'll do: Connect with gestational carriers (GCs) who have completed evaluations and are likely to be approved by social workers to obtain comprehensive insurance information and plan documents Coordinate with our legal team to review insurance policies and ensure compliance Exhaust all available channels to obtain plan documents, consult with senior staff when standard procedures are insufficient Maintain thorough documentation of all insurance activities in CRM systems and GC Profile Folders Complete Maternity plan or ACA policy applications when GC primary insurance is denied or costs are prohibitive Ensure comprehensive insurance plan document collection and review processes Provide clear instructions to surrogates managing dual insurance policies, including proper card presentation, network provider usage, and appointment procedures What you'll need to succeed: High school diploma or equivalent with background in medical billing or insurance verifications 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably in healthcare, insurance, or related field Strong understanding of insurance policies, claims processing, and healthcare coverage Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in CRM systems and document management Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion Customer service experience with ability to counsel clients through complex processes Experience with ACA marketplace plans and healthcare navigation desired Bilingual Spanish a plus!
