Job Description

Administrative Assistant III Responsible for providing administrative support to the Associate Vice President for Curriculum and Academic Programs and general clerical support to the Curriculum and Academic Programs office. Job duties include answering and screening calls, maintaining records, managing email and calendar, making appointments, assisting with webpages, processing travel arrangements, preparing correspondence, hiring and supervising student employees, serving as office time administrator, monitoring due dates, assisting with event planning, managing inventory, submitting purchase requisitions, and assisting with ledgers. Required qualifications include experience with administrative tasks, ability to proofread and prepare grammatically correct documents, excellent customer service skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, understanding of proper protocol, ability to prioritize work, ability to establish and maintain complex records, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred qualifications include knowledge of University and Academic Affairs policies, experience with event management support, experience using SAP or similar enterprise system, experience using Banner or similar student information system, and experience using GATO or similar web content management system.
