What You'll Do: Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access control requirements, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of facilities, parking areas, and perimeter zones, checking doors, gates, restricted areas, and critical assets to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor alarms, cameras, and access control systems; investigate unusual activity and/or alarm activations and take appropriate action within post orders. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with onsite contacts and public responders as needed. Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and shift documentation; communicate status updates and security-related observations to leadership during shift turnover. Minimum Requirements: Have a minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience. Have a minimum of 3 or more years of combined law enforcement and/or military and/or security-related experience or a college degree. Maintain an active DoD Secret clearance. Be at least 21 years of age. Have a Level III Armed Certification for Texas only. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
