PATIENT ACCOUNTS REPRESENTATIVE

Patient Accounts Representative Rocking Horse Community Health Center (RHCHC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that provides healthcare services to some of the area's most vulnerable populations. The organization is looking for an individual to join the team in our Billing Department. This individual will be responsible for assigned aspects of revenue cycle management related to the billing and collection of payments for services provided to patients. Follows departmental procedures to carry out the billing process and to post payments received from insurance and patients. Monitors accounts receivable, following up on outstanding claims, and contacts patients regarding outstanding balances. This opportunity has a generous compensation package. Clark County has excellent school systems and is home to Clark State College and Wittenberg University. Education Requirements High school diploma or (GED) required. Prior billing/accounting experience and working with an Electronic Health Record system (EHR) is preferred. Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel are required.
