Service Access Manager - Cancer Center Southpoint Manage service access activities and staff to achieve continuous and optimal patient care. Duties and responsibilities include supervising and coordinating clinic/department activities, directing scheduling and financial services, participating in committees, representing the clinic/department, planning and scheduling work, communicating and modeling DUHS values, handling personnel actions, coordinating diagnostic and treatment activities, greeting and assisting visitors and patients, maintaining liaison with medical staff, developing policies and procedures, collecting and analyzing data, generating reports, enforcing regulatory requirements, preparing department budget, and performing other related duties. Required qualifications include a high school diploma, six years of progressive experience in a healthcare setting, and strong verbal and written communication skills. A Bachelors degree in a related field is strongly preferred.
