Maintenance Repair Technician (2nd Shift) - Avon, Ohio - JOB 26-00113 Hourly Rate: $29.00 - $34.00/HR +$1.50 Shift differential - Permanent Position with Benefits Avon Manufacturing Company is seeking a Maintenance Repair Technician to work on their 2nd shift operations. The Maintenance Repair Technician will follow standard procedures and operating manuals to effect repair, maintenance and diagnosis of mechanic problems in capital equipment and facilities. Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment. Replaces faulty electrical components of machine such as relays, switches and motors and positions sensing devices using hand tools. Replaces electric motor bearings and rewires motors REQUIREMENTS Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment Experience with hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems. Experience with conveyor systems. Must be able to read blueprints. Experience/Knowledge with welding and fabricating. Good knowledge with OSHA Basic Experience/knowledge with Lock-out tag out procedures. Must be able to work with minimal supervision. Must have a good Mechanical aptitude. 2nd Shift 3:30pm - 12:00am OT as needed Union Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
