Entry Level Patrol Officers

The Township of Darby Police Department is currently accepting applications for full-time, entry-level Patrol Officers through the Civil Service hiring process. The application window is open from February 9, 2026, through March 13, 2026. Applications must be picked up and submitted in person at the Darby Township Police Department Headquarters, 2 Studevan Plaza, Sharon Hill, PA. between the hours of 10am-5pm. All completed applications must be returned no later than 5:00 p.m. on March 13, 2026. Candidates must successfully complete comprehensive testing and oral examination before the Civil Service Board. Qualified applicants are required to submit ACT 120 Certification, a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license, proof of high school diploma or GED, and a non-refundable $35.00 check or money order payable to Township of Darby.
