Pharmacist

Job Title: Pharmacist Location: Jackson, WI, 53037 Contract: 3+months contract with contract to hire opportunity Shift: Monday–Friday: (9:30 AM – 6:00 PM) & Rotating Saturday: (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) - Occasional overtime may be required Hours Per Week: 40 hours Responsibilities: Perform accurate and timely product verification. Manage out‑of‑stock notifications and communicate appropriately. Process Return‑to‑Stock medications. Support workflow activities in dispensing, data verification, and customer‑related inquiries. Maintain compliance with all applicable pharmacy regulations, safety standards, and internal policies. Team Composition: Collaborative pharmacy team consisting of three additional pharmacists, supporting different workflow areas including verification, data entry, and customer service. Minimum Requirements: 1 year of professional pharmacist experience. 1 year of experience demonstrating productivity and timely task completion. Strong critical‑thinking skills (1 year minimum). Ability to work in a fast‑paced pharmacy environment. Active Wisconsin Pharmacist License (required). Preferred Qualifications: All skills listed above are at an advanced proficiency level. Background in pharmacy practice within retail, clinical, or long‑term care environments (preferred but not mandatory). Ideal Candidate Background: Solid pharmacy practice experience with knowledge of medication dispensing workflows. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and safety.
