Assistant Director Of Childcare & Preschool The Learning Experience Dedham, Ma The Learning Experience Dedham is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Childcare and Preschool Operations to help lead our high-quality early childhood education center. This is an ideal opportunity for a strong early childhood leader who is ready to grow into (or continue in) a leadership role within a busy, successful daycare and preschool environment. In this role, you will support center operations, coach teachers, ensure licensing compliance, and help drive enrollment, family satisfaction, and program quality. What You'll Do Staff Leadership & Coaching: Recruit, interview, and onboard early childhood teachers and support staff Observe classrooms and provide coaching, feedback, and training Support consistent, high-quality curriculum implementation across all age groups Build weekly schedules and manage classroom ratios to meet EEC requirements Maintain staff files, onboarding, and compliance documentation Center Operations & Quality: Ensure daily compliance with Massachusetts EEC licensing regulations Partner with the Center Director to support enrollment growth and family engagement Help manage daily operations, staffing coverage, and center organization Promote a positive, professional, and team-oriented school culture Qualifications Minimum 1 year of leadership experience in a preschool or childcare center (2+ preferred) Classroom teaching experience with infants, toddlers, and/or preschool Bachelor's degree in ECE or related field preferred Massachusetts Director I & II credentials required Strong knowledge of EEC regulations and center operations CPR/First Aid preferred Why Join Us?
