Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician The Maintenance Technician is responsible for restaurant maintenance in a designated area or region. This includes the physical structure of the building, parking lot, plumbing, electrical, machinery, HVAC and refrigeration. Essential Functions Receive and execute work orders and verbal directives from supervisor in an organized and timely manner. Communicate with team members and restaurant staff effectively. Maintain high safety standards on all assigned projects. Performs preventative maintenance and address repairs in stores that may not have been reported. Move, replace and/or install equipment. Work with outside vendors and contractors as required. Position Requirements Able to read and write. Able to work varying hours including weekends and holidays. Able to work overtime if necessary. Able to stand for prolonged periods. Able to manually move, lift, carry, pull or push heavy objects or materials (over 50lbs). Able to climb and utilize a ladder safely. Must have the following experience and/or certification: HVAC and Refrigeration preferred Electrical Plumbing Commercial Kitchen Equipment Internal and External Flooring/Resurfacing Must possess a valid driver's license and good driving record. Education and/or Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. One-year certificate from college or technical school OR 6-9 months related experience.
