Benefits Specialist Benefits provides services to employees and delivers high quality and professional administration of employee benefits program. Job Functions & Responsibilities Assist with the administration of health & welfare plans for active and retirees. Position includes tasks such as handling phone lines, preparing mass mailings and exit interview packets, auditing and reconciling eligibility and billing. Answer questions on health & welfare questions. Work with employees & retirees to resolve claim issues. Work with HR Benefits Team on other projects as needed. Exercise high degree of discretion and confidentiality. Skills Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook Knowledge of HRMS systems, SAP preferred Strong attention to detail Ability to observe confidentiality Strong analytical skills Strong written and verbal skills Knowledge and experience administering health & welfare benefits. Technical knowledge of FMLA, HIPAA, COBRA, PPACA. Education and Certifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in related field. Minimum two years of directly applicable benefits experience, including administration, and claims resolution. All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
