Shipment Management Associate II As part of the Ryder team, the Shipment Management Associate II will handle a variety of tasks. Essential functions include technical support of SMC operations, customer interfacing, continuous improvement and ISO 9001 quality program, customer solution development and support, operational training, and project management. Additional responsibilities may include supporting the client after hours and performing other duties as assigned. Skills and abilities include representing the company with external constituents, building strong customer relationships, effective leadership skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to work independently and as a member of a team, problem solving skills, and flexibility to operate in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, a bachelor's degree preferred in transportation management, logistics, business administration or related field, and two or more years of direct transportation or logistics work experience. Travel: None. DOT Regulated: No. Job Category: Supply Chain Compensation Information: The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including relevant experience, education, work location, market data/ranges, internal equity, internal salary ranges, etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type.
