Accounts Payable Analyst As an Accounts Payable Analyst, you will perform support tasks and activities in the accounts payable function. You will validate supplier invoices to system purchase orders to make sure our suppliers are paid timely. Additionally, you will perform a match between the supplier invoice and system generated PO, ensuring that all approvals are given and procedures are followed. You will maintain invoice and other transaction records and work directly with vendors and internal personnel on statements, past due balances and discrepancies. Responsibilities: Compiles invoices owed by the company to suppliers or other organizations. Verifies purchase order detail, interprets Levels of Authority and processes invoices. Maintains all invoice and other transaction records. Works directly with vendors and WESCO locations on past due balances. Reviews statements from vendors and keeps the aging within the allowed vendor terms. Follows escalation procedures for exception handling. Qualifications: High School degree or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred 1 year required, 3 years preferred, of related experience Accurate and fast data entry Proficient computer skills, including intermediate Excel knowledge is preferred Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities with the capacity to research and resolve discrepancies Excellent organizational and time-management skills Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely Solid math aptitude and attention to detail Compensation Details $20.61 - $25.76 Per Hour This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements. For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents. For certain sales roles, Wesco also offers a commission structure that provides additional compensation based on sales results, as defined by the applicable commission plan.
