The position requires diverse facilities experience and is in charge of overall maintenance in the WUPA-TV CBS Atlanta suites. The Facilities Maintenance Worker reports directly to the Director of Broadcast Operations and Engineering. Responsibilities: Create a tracking system for preventative maintenance and inspections. Coordinate the general maintenance aspects of the facility interior including cleaning company oversight. Lead all aspects of renovation projects, and coordinate safety inspections. Oversee maintenance and repairs of HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire suppression systems. Work alongside the facility security contractor to ensure they are following SOPs for access, parking, and monitoring. Assist news operations with fleet vehicle maintenance Manage space planning and office moves. Manage badge system and building access. Assist news and executive admin assistants with shipping/receiving and facility event planning. Schedule regular meetings with the facility owners property manager to discuss suite issues and overall property condition. Must have deep knowledge of Federal/State/Local regulations and codes and maintain strict building compliance with pertinent laws and codes. Knowledge of and adherence to OSHA and Fire Safety regulations. Ad hoc responsibilities as needed Qualifications: 5+ years of facilities maintenance experience Ability to carry up to 50lbs Must have a Valid Driver's License Additional Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, not required Engineering knowledge or certification in related fields of expertise a plus Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills What We Offer: Attractive compensation and comprehensive benefits packages.
