The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire and will be dependent on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, experience, education, credentials, and licensure when applicable. North Hollywood Toyota (TNH) is seeking for experienced Service Writer to enhance our current Service department's growth. We are seeking for a detail oriented, multitask and energetic candidate to join our team. TNH offers a position work environment and encourages internal promotions. As a Service Writer, you'll be responsible for managing warranties, related repair paperwork and follow work order for all operations listed. You'll provide customer service with variety of automotive task. You will be the leading support to our Service team. This is a full-time role in which you'll report to the Service Manager. You must be willing to work onsite at the North Hollywood Toyota office. What you'll do as a Service Writer? Review and verify vehicle warranty protections and service contract coverage when developing cost estimates, work orders, and other paperwork related to necessary repairs Leverage automotive technology and product knowledge to clearly address customer needs and share the status of service appointments Schedule appointments for service technicians Resolve customer complaints and make follow-up calls to facilitate a positive service center experience Lead vehicle pick-up efforts by coordinating efforts with auto service porters and customers Manage all automotive paperwork, including repair orders, invoices, and maintenance records Qualifications What we look for in our Service Writer? College - preferred Minimum three (3) years of experience working as a service technician or in a service department a plus A valid, state-issued driver's license and clean driving record is necessary. General mechanical skills Microsoft Office program and general computer skills are mandatory Strong oral and written communication Strong problem solving and decision-making skills Strong integrity Detail oriented Ability to work independently or in a team environment Ability to meet or exceed performance competencies Benefits What do we offer?
