Job Responsibilities: Should have the ability to work and communicate comfortably with all levels of people from workers on the manufacturing floor to top leadership. Candidates must be flexible to work overtime if needed to meet business demands. Looking for candidate to work independently and have the ability to make sound decisions based on knowledge of job Responsible for Source to Pay activities required for procuring quality products and services (on-time and best price) in accordance with the Global Buying Policy and strategic sourcing process and tools. Evaluates requisitions for policy compliance and completeness and converts to purchase orders. Creates and maintains contractual documents (Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA), Certificates of Insurance (COI), supply and pricing agreements, etc.). Responsible for Vendor Add/Maintenance requirements and timely resolution/elimination of invoicing issues. Facilitates the competitive quote process by receiving and evaluating completeness of Scope of Work (SOW) document in accordance with policy and sourcing strategy. Prepares, solicits, and evaluates competitive bids/quotations/proposals. Negotiates pricing, selects or recommends suppliers, and manages supplier performance. Analyzes trends, follows up on open orders, verifies delivery, approves payment, and maintains necessary records Identifies and develops new supply sources in alignment with business and global supply management strategy. Compiles information to keep informed on price and technology trends, manufacturing processes, and supplier capabilities. Confers with suppliers and analyses suppliers' operations to determine factors that affect prices and determines lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules. Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Exercises judgment within defined policies, procedures and practices for guidance and to determine appropriate action. Work is performed under general direction. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy. Contributes to the completion of organizational projects and goals. Frequent internal company and external contacts. Represents organization on specific projects. Complete understanding and application of principles. Concepts, practices and standards. Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems. Required Skills (These are skills that candidates MUST possess): Strong analytical abilities with attention to detail Demonstrated decision making, influencing, and conflict management/problem solving skills Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, throughout all levels of the organization and externally Solid organizational and time management skills Contracting (negotiation, writing, and management) SAP procurement experience General computer skills, including spreadsheet and PowerPoint Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in supply chain, business or technical field preferred or 3+ years procurement, supply chain or equivalent experience with proven track record Desired Certifications: institute for Supply Management (ISM) or APICs certifications, CPSM, C.P.M., A.P.P., CPIM, CSCP.
