Pharmacy Manager - Circle The City Pharmacy - Phoenix, AZ Compassionate, customer service oriented Pharmacy Manager needed for Circle the City Pharmacy, a specialty pharmacy in Phoenix, AZ. In this integrated model, the Pharmacy Manager will work closely with providers and clinic staff collaboratively, providing team-based medicine with a strong pharmacy component to provide optimal care for patients. The Pharmacy Manager, a VytlOne employee, is a competent, dynamic leader who is responsible for the coordination of patient services within the pharmacy and supervision of pharmacy staff. Our Locations The VytlOne team brings robust experience, diverse perspectives and passion from a nationwide team of 1600+ professionals located in 47 states Estimated Salary Range is $160k-$168k plus bonus depending on experience Responsibilities Essential Functions: Assist the Regional Manager and or the Executive VP of Operations ensure the pharmacy provides optimal service, meets legal and accreditation/certification requirements, and complies with all policies and standards of VytlOne Maintain daily operation of pharmacy department by supervising pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in the routine performance of their duties. Provide appropriate technical and customer service training for pharmacy staff. Review and update established drug-therapy guidelines and other policies and procedures, in conjunction with the Regional Manager and/or the Executive VP of Operations, for use by physicians, nurses, and pharmacists. Provide drug information to meet the needs of physicians and nurses through direct contact or in-service programs. Prepare various reports and maintain records or supervise the maintenance of records as required or requested by the Regional Manager and/or the Executive VP of Operations. Maintain current knowledge of drug therapies and drug reactions and interactions by reading professional literature, attending seminars and utilizing professional affiliations. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Successful candidates will possess the following education and experience necessary for this position: Education: Graduate from an accredited school of pharmacy Current Arizona Pharmacist license Experience: Minimum of 3 years of retail and/or clinic-based pharmacy management experience; Strong leadership and supervisory skills; Ability to work effectively with a multi-disciplinary team; Effective written and verbal communication skills; Prior knowledge of local, state, and federal accrediting body and OSHA rules and regulations preferred.
