Assistant Vice President For ProEx Practice HUB International Southeast is seeking an Assistant Vice President for our ProEx Practice. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office, possess strong organizational skills, be able to build strong internal and external relationships and possess an active P&C license (or be willing to obtain one upon hiring). Your impact as an Assistant Vice President will be directly tied to you meeting the following expectations: Be responsive. Be proactive. Efficiently manage tasks assigned to you to ensure that they are completed on or before the deadline. Demonstrate your ability to present professionally in all elements of client facing (internal and external) including technical writing and verbal presentations. Be seen by internal and external clients as a trusted advisor in all elements of Network Security and Privacy Liability, Technology Errors & Omissions, Media Liability, Miscellaneous Professional Liability and HUB resources. Service clients throughout the full insurance brokerage deal flow process. Retain clients; expand book of business by building relationships with prospects and producers. Be efficient in client deliverables and ensure that all content is accurate and professional. Demonstrate expertise in comparison and analysis of insurance policies and determination of needed enhancements to accomplish objectives, solve problems and identify business opportunities. Demonstrate ability to consistently review terms and conditions to ensure consistency with expiring wording and enhancement year-over-year. Be knowledgeable in ProEx policies, procedures and documents. Be knowledgeable about the value proposition of HUB's South Region ProEx team. Essential responsibilities and duties include: Understand the nuances of the Network Security and Privacy Liability, Technology Errors & Omissions, Media Liability, Miscellaneous Professional Liability insurance marketplace and our team's products and services. Possess the ability to place a layered program ($20M+) start to finish. Utilize effective negotiation skills to improve broking results for clients. Be responsible for all aspects of client services for your assigned book of business as well as new business opportunities including: Saving all quotes, binders, declinations, sample wording, policies and other related material in the designated location utilizing naming conventions determined by the team; Determining most appropriate renewal solicitation requirements and communicating renewal requirements with account team; Compiling Renewal Strategy presentations inclusive of prior year's renewal highlights, program overview, benchmarking, data and analytics, current market update, timeline ensuring accuracy and relevance to client or prospect; Gathering submission material from the account management team, reviewing for accuracy and prepare for marketing; Effectively managing the renewal process with the account management team and client; Sending comprehensive submission communication to markets; Soliciting underwriter questions and compiling into a client friendly format; Effectively managing an underwriting meeting including invitations, agenda, attendee lists, etc.; Effectively securing quotes, binders and polices and seek corrections as needed; Compiling Renewal Proposal documents inclusive of renewal highlights, expiring program, renewal program, program changes, coverage enhancements; Submitting bind order to market and securing binder in a timely manner reviewing for accuracy and ensuring that there are no subjectivities, expiration dates, etc. In cases of subjectivities / expiration dates diary for follow-up to ensure that subjectivities are received, and binders do not expire. Securing and reviewing policies within 30-days of binding. Providing status updates and continuous support and service to internal and external clients throughout the process. Continuously reviewing opportunities for cross-sell and increased limits (where appropriate for the client). Establishing an understanding of the claims administration process and engaging HUB's claims advocacy team as needed. Maintaining relationships with underwriters. Understanding the causes of broker Errors & Omissions and adopting practices to avoid exposure; escalating any concerns to senior team members immediately. Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
