Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/06/2026 Duration: 11 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Unit Overview 10 ED beds (up to 20 total treatment spaces including hall beds) Average census varies by site (60–110 patients/day) 135,000 combined patients annually Patient population: Neonates – Geriatrics ~25% Peds Walk-in traumas Cardiac, Neuro, GI, Respiratory, Psych Frequent GSW drop-offs RN-to-patient ratio: 1:4 typical Fast track 1:6 (team nurse model) Minimum night staffing varies (typically 4 RN / 1 LPN; can be 2 RN / 1 LPN).
