Aegis Worldwide Estimator 1st SHIFT/$70-$90k/FULL TIME Fort Wayne, IN Overview: Aegis Worldwide is curently partnered with a tool and die manufacturer. Responsibilities Work with Sales on making estimates and quotes for customers Review statement-of-work and request-for-proposals in depth, noting customer standards that are required. Generate questions for customers and work with management to clarify all details. Work with shop personnel, engineering teams (controls) and mechanical design teams to develop a concept in 3D CAD or a sketch. Work with suppliers for pricing and delivery times on components needed for the project Collect information on cost data and previous quotes Analyze blueprints, CAD files and other documentation to prepare labor and material estimates Requirements Engineering degree preferred, not required. (experience outweighs the degree). Experience within a job shop or machine shop environment. 3+ years of experience with purchasing, quoting, planning, and working with engineering teams 3+ years of experience within tool shops or gaining familiarity with tooling. Ability to read blueprint tolerancing and GTD is a must Knowledge of Hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical controls required 3D Solidworks experience is required Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
