Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 12 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel TECHNICAL SKILLS Must Have LOCATION INFORMATION Aurora Medical Center Grafton - 975 Port Washington Rd JOB SUMMARY Grafton - ED JOB DESCRIPTION RN - ED Backfill About Facility Grafton, WI Level III Trauma Center Level II NICU Primary Stroke Center Beds: 167 General Information Beds: 18 Experience: 2 years of ER experience First-time traveler: Yes Patient Types: Neonates-Geriatrics (45% of patients are 65 or older) Geriatrics, chest pain, afib, stroke Will transfer psych, peds and higher level traumas as needed (St Lukes 45 mins away) Higher acuity Client Level 2-3 Average 60 patients/day Patient Ratios: RN: 1:3-4 (days & nights) Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC, NIH TNCC (preferred) Skills required PIV starts, cardiac rhythm interpretation, cardiac gtt, vasopressors, TPA administration (preferred) Epic experience required Support on the Unit: Charge nurse - may take patient load Bedside telemetry monitoring without tele tech RT 24/7 Hospitalist 24/7 Pharmacy 24/7 EICU 24/7 Charting System/Equipment: EPIC - required Alaris IV pumps Pyxis Floating: None Orientation: 2 days of hospital orientation One shift on unit to learn flow (usually day shift for training purposes) Scheduling: Weekend rotation: every other Can we approve time off: 7 days Call, not required Holiday Expectations: 1 summer and 1 winter Other notes or things you want us to check/verify?
