Job Title: Registered Nurse – ICU/CCU (Night Shift) Job Type: Contract Specialty: Nursing Sub-Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Coronary Care Unit (CCU) Facility Overview Level II Trauma Center Mid-sized acute care hospital (150–500 beds) W-2 employment required through submitting agency Assignment Details Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night shift (12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM start time) Holiday Coverage: Required Floating: Required to float to other units, including Med/Surg and other critical care areas as needed Responsibilities Provide direct patient care to critically ill adult patients in ICU/CCU Monitor and manage life-support systems and advanced cardiac care Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams Accurately document patient care using EPIC EMR system Maintain high standards of patient safety and clinical excellence Minimum Qualifications Active California RN license Minimum of 2 years ICU experience Prior travel nursing experience required Current BLS and ACLS certifications Proficiency in EPIC charting system Willingness to float as needed Required Certifications BLS (Basic Life Support) ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Only qualified and certified candidates may apply.
