Doctor of Medicine | Surgery - General/Other Location: Fort Myers, FL Employer: Alumni Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 2 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Specialty Health Park Medical Center-AP-Physician-0057 State FL Location 9981 S HealthPark Dr Fort Myers Florida 33908 Requirements Monday thru Friday 645a-5pm, no clinic/inpatient consults, inpatient surgical cases, pre and postoperative rounding. All Rounding is done with an APP. APP will create progress notes and consult notes. Surgeon will need to add their note and cosign. Weekend coverage will be rounding on all patients with a PA, only emergent cases to the OR. All new consults. Will likely be 1 weekend per month. Night Call process: Call starts at 4:30pm and runs until 7am the following day. Weekend Call is covered by weekend coverage surgeon and runs Friday 4:30pm- Monday 7pm Surgical PA is first call for all floor patients. CVICU has a CTS App in the unit most nights, they will call surgeon if needed. ER will call surgeon if needed. Will cover Monday through Thursday night call intermittently. This is spread across all surgeons equitably Please have your providers answer these questions: Both cardiac and thoracic? If they do thoracic, can they do open, VATS, or robotic? Can they do ECMO, Impella, and TEVAR?
