Emergency Center Registered Nurse New pay rates! Most competitive in this area! Up to $12,000 hiring bonus As a designated Level III trauma center, Lawrence General Hospital's Emergency Center treats the Merrimack Valley's most serious illnesses and injuries. The Emergency Center nurse consistently encounters stressful situations and must demonstrate competent responsiveness to frequent critical situations with both adult and pediatric patients, and must work effectively with patients, families and co-workers. Under the direction and leadership of the Nurse Manager, the Emergency Center RN is responsible for the delivery of patient care through knowledge of the nursing process and age specific requirements, and by following departmental and hospital policy and procedure. Qualified candidates must possess excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively document care, delegate assignments, relay information, make referrals, and act as liaison between patient, physicians, other hospital disciplines, and community agencies. Required: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associates (ASN) with a minimum of two years' experience in this specialty. Massachusetts RN licensure and BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNCC within six months of hire.
