Full Time Nights RN- 5 South Observation Unit

Job Summary The 5 South Observation Unit is a fast-paced, team-focused environment designed to support both the Emergency Department and telemetry units. This 21-bed unit provides short-term observation for low-acuity patients to determine whether inpatient admission is needed. With strong nurse-to-patient ratios and a collaborative care model, this unit is an excellent fit for nurses with backgrounds in Telemetry, ED, ICU/CCU, intermediate care, or ambulatory care. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to low-acuity observation patients. Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment in a fast-paced environment. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support efficient patient flow. Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition. Maintain accurate documentation and follow evidence-based standards of care. Minimum Education, Training, and Experience Required Active Kentucky RN license BLS ACLS NIH Certification training available 12-Lead EKG training available Phlebotomy
