Production Mechanic Join as Bosch Location Charleston, SC Fields of work Manufacturing Working time Full-time Legal entity Robert Bosch LLC Your tasks Principal Responsibilities: (denotes essential functions as defined by ADA) Follow all plant safety and environmental policies Maintain an organized workspace Monitor operations and perform adjustments as necessary to ensure quality production Troubleshoot and analyze equipment problems Initiate corrective actions to improve quality and equipment effectiveness Repair or replace defective machine components, such as solenoids, valves, and cylinders Perform line and machine changeovers Optimize processes to reduce set-up time Achieve expected production quantities to ensure customer goals are obtained Complete assigned technical training to support personal growth and development Collaborate with Operators, Manufacturing Technicians, Engineers, and area Leadership Benefits Include: Starting hourly rate for this position is $30.08 - $32.20 based on experience. Potential to earn up to $38.15 as your skills and contribution grow. Your profile Qualifications Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent Must be at least 18 years or older Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbal and written, with supervision and other personnel Familiar with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel) Must be able to function in a noisy and fast paced environment Demonstrates self-initiative Minimum two years of experience in manufacturing assembly or machining Basic knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, print-reading and mechanics Must demonstrate mechanical proficiency, leadership ability, and teamwork Must be willing to work on alternate shifts and must demonstrate the ability to adapt to changes Qualified candidates often have experience in roles such as: Maintenance Technician, Manufacturing Technician, Setup Technician, Equipment Technician, or similar positions.
