Office Administrator Stem Day Camp Cranbrook is excited that it is one of a handful of camps in the nation offering STEM camp modules developed by the Edgerton Center at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). As Cranbrook continues in its relationship with MIT, we are proud to be able to offer such a remarkable opportunity for your child through our day camps. Each module is a week in length and is offered when available. Modules include App Inventor, Digital Game Design, Electronics Engineering and Design, Techno Threads, Rocketry, Eco Detectives, Physics of Photography, Kinetic Sculpture, Energy Engineer, Advanced Electronics, Underwater ROVs, 3D Printing, and Skitterbots. For more information regarding this camp, please click here: Cranbrook Schools STEM Camps Duties: Interact with families and campers (boys and girls, grades 3-7) in a positive, nurturing and enriching manner. Respond to or distribute incoming phone calls and emails to appropriate camp staff. Monitor and communicate via radio to main office and other camps. Utilize the camp database and create reports. Create, process, and send camp announcements, newsletters, follow-up communications, and incident, injury, and behavioral reports. Provide prompt responses to program inquiries and establish efficient working relationships with camp and CEC personnel and program participants. Qualifications: High school diploma; advanced skills in Outlook, Excel, Word, and modern databases; excellent interpersonal skills; ability to relate with campers, staff, and parents. Preferred: Camp employment experience. Timeframe: Orientation begins the week of June 9. Camp runs Monday-Friday, June 15-August 7, with pack-away on August 8. Wage: $16.50 per hour.
