Doctor of Medicine | Neonatal Location: Long Beach, CA Employer: Alumni Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 2 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Specialty Coastal Neo Practice - Neonatology State CA Location 2801 Atlantic Avenue, Long Beach, CA Requirements Opportunity for Coverage Needs for a Neonatologist in the Long Beach CA area Level IV Provider Inhouse shift coverage. Shifts outlined below: Weekday ShiftsM-F 8am -4pm day shiftM-F 3pm - 9am night shiftM-F 24 hour shift combining the two above Weekend at 3pm - Saturday 9amSat 9am - Sun 9amSun 9am - Monday 9am Rate structure: Orientation Hours – 50 of standard rate OT over 40 hours/week Extra-Time standard rate. Holidays 1.25x Conversion rates 25K MD/DO max conversion fee to be billed but will be discounted based on hours worked see Rules of Engagement for breakdown •What is the average daily census/case load for the provider? 14 babies •What is the coverage model how many neonatologists APPs fellows etc. are on during the day and overnight? 24 hour- in house call community hospital- no NP PA Neo only allowed to intubate •Does the provider need to be ECMO-certified or manage ECMO patients? No we do not provide ECMO •Are there any specific procedural requirements? Working on verifying with medstaff regarding procedural requirement- if interested for moderate sedation there is an exam to take Schedule Varied, Provider Inhouse shift coverage.
