Retail Pharmacy Technician Join Henry Ford Health as a Retail Pharmacy Technician, make an exciting impact on our ambulatory team. Location: Grand Blanc Schedule: Part Time- 20 hours a week - start times vary between 8am, 9am and 10am. Every 2-3 Saturday. Provides distributive pharmacy services and technical support for the Pharmacist prior to receiving certification. Our OB-GYNs/maternity care teams deliver a personalized birthing experience and advanced neonatal care for sick babies. We offer a range of minimally invasive procedures using robotic-assisted technology, imaging, and an inpatient rehabilitation center, all on one campus. Principal Duties & Responsibilities: Refills and maintains automated dispensing systems. Prepares orders and maintains inventory for the Pharmacy department. Prepares sterile and non-sterile compounds. Repackages bulk medications. Receives and stores incoming supplies. Triages incoming calls and serves as a liaison between pharmacy, patient and health professionals by providing information. Education & Experience Required: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience -OR- Associate's degree/Technical degree -OR- 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Certifications/Licensures Required: Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Michigan Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
